Virginia Adventure Day 3
Dogs got us up early so we went for a bike ride. Just a little excitement on our ride. We found the dog park at the KOA and realized we forgot the leashes so we let the dogs off the bikes to run and play (it was a fenced in area) but when Mike decided to ride back Lily wanted to go with and squeezed through the fence running so fast after Mike. I had to gather Rexie and throw him in the basket to go after Lily. As I yelled "Lily" she ran faster so I used the magic word TREAT, TREAT!!! and she turned around running back to me.
Rexie rides with me, he is such serious fellow.
Dogs stayed at the cabin and Mike and I went to Colonial Williamsburg. It was very interesting but very hot.
Governors Mansion took 20 years to build.
This is the Ball Room inside the Mansion. I'm sure Mike is happy he lives in the 20th century and not back in the 1700's can you imagine the honey due list he would have..........

Virginia Adventure Day 2
We left Kentucky this morning with another 6-7 hour ride before us. The second day in the car was much more difficult. Rexie and Lily are not comfortable, they are just not sure what is going on. My legs feel so tight from being in the car and my body is starting to hurt all over. In spite of my complaints it's a beautiful ride from Kentucky to West Virginia to Virginia; at times I would look out the and think there is no end to this drive just mountains and mountains forever and ever.
At the Virginia line visitors center and Rexie poohed on the lamp post, really Rex???

Virginia Adventure Day 1
Today we ventured off to Virginia with the two dogs. Mike was packing the car and if you look close you can see Rexie already in the car; he was going to make sure we didn't leave him behind.
Less than an hour into the trip I was sitting cross legged in the car desperately in need of a pit stop. The next hour again I was needing another pit stop and a stop for us is not fast with the dogs. Mike reminded me if we stop every hour we will never make it to Kentucky where we are staying the night and then in the morning finishing the ride to Virginia.
Rexie and Lily did good in the car. Of course Rexie found his place on my lap and Lily found her place in the back seat on top of the pillows and blankets.
Well look at that we did make it to Kentucky, yeah!!!!!

Can't Leave Home Without Them
It looks as though we could never leave home without Rexie and Lily.....
Lily got in Mike's suite case he was packing for an out of town business trip. It's usually the car she gets in when you open the doors to put something in there.
